International Civic Exchange Program

Supporting and reinforcing democracy internationally is an important mission. Our international program is designed to strengthen democratic values, and to teach skills and tools necessary for citizens to engage their governments, understand institutions, domestic, and international policy making. Participants also, gain the opportunity to visit with elected officials, federal institutions, and observe community organizations in action. A key deliverable allows participants to develop a community action plan, and to implement this plan upon return to their home countries.

About The Experience in Democracy Method

Our program uses modules, workshops, seminars, and “hands on” experiences designed to teach and enhance understanding of: Personal Power, the Political Process, How US Government Works; Leadership, and Community Advancement. Participants also spend some time working and visiting US community organizations. We also customize and focus on the needs of participants and designed portions of the program to meet these requirements.
