Held every 2 years, BCLI hosts a Civic Leadership Summit. The summit brings together youth from across the US and the globe to interact with members of Congress, regulatory, service, and U.S. government agencies to discuss issues affecting developing communities. The venue provides youth an opportunity to voice their community issues to members of Congress and the national community, participate in leadership workshops, and create a national and global youth agenda. BCLI created a national Youth Board to serve as part of the steering committee for the summits each year.
